About the role
We are searching for a Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in driving insurance data analysis towards excellence in If Baltic. The chosen candidate will support data-driven decisions across all business areas by constructing efficient data pipelines, implementing a comprehensive reporting architecture, and developing smart analysis tools for the business.
What are you going to do?
- Participate in and take a leading role in insurance data analytics projects aimed at creating a unified insurance data model for the entire Baltic company.
- Generate technical specifications for data engineers, taking into account business requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Create data analysis tools utilizing MS Tabular data models and Power BI.
- Deliver reporting models, offer valuable insights to stakeholders and train users.
- Provide support to the company's analysts' community and business users in utilizing reporting tools, data models, and the data warehouse.
- Explore and propose the utilization of new data sources, actively contributing to their implementation.
What do we expect from you?
Must have
- Strong enthusiasm for working with numbers and transforming large amounts of data into actionable business insights.
- Good communication skills, coupled with a desire to learn and collaborate with others.
- Previous work experience in an analytical or actuarial position.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or IT.
- Proficiency in SQL, Tabular models, MS Office (Excel, Visio, Project), and data visualization.
- Fluent in English with the ability to understand one of the Baltic languages.
Nice to have
- Experience in Python, SAS, and Power BI.
- Previous work experience in an Agile environment.
- Project management skills.
- Change management skills.

- Monthly salary: From €2400 to €3800* gross depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, there is an annual bonus. (*Please note that the specific amount may vary due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries.)
