- Compulsory motor third party liability (CMTPL or OCTA) will protect you against losses which occur when you damage the property of a third party. Mandatory insurance covers losses which you accidentally cause for someone else. If your automobile is also damaged in the accident, however, you will have to cover that cost yourself.
- Motor own demage insurance (MOD or CASCO) is voluntary motor vehicle insurance which will cover losses caused to your own automobile when there is accident. Even more, MOD insurance will provide you with a replacement car while yours is being repaired.
- Passenger accident insurance is provided for the driver and the passengers in the car. If the driver or a passenger is injured in an accident, this type of insurance will cover the cost of medical treatment.
